About this program

This course is an introduction to comic book creation, designed to provide students with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to create their own comics. Through a combination of hands-on activities, discussions, and analysis of existing comic books, students will explore the key elements of storytelling, character development, panel layout, dialogue, and visual aesthetics.

Final projects or artifacts

Students will create their own original comic book. They will develop a concept, create characters, plan the story, design panels, and incorporate visual and textual elements to bring their comic book to life.
